The Sports Locker

The Sports Locker is a mobile app, so we do not use traditional website browser cookies. We do, however, use similar technologies on the device to make the app work and to understand how it is used. This notice explains those technologies and your choices, and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Because the app runs on your device rather than in a web browser, we and our providers may use technologies such as: local storage on the device (to keep you signed in and remember your settings); software development kits (SDKs) included in the app (for example for analytics or crash reporting); and device or advertising identifiers (such as the identifier your phone provides for analytics or advertising). In this notice we refer to these together as "similar technologies."
Some similar technologies are operated by us directly. Others are operated by third-party providers we use, such as analytics or crash-reporting services. We do not control those third parties' own use of data, and you should review the relevant provider's privacy policy for details.
3.1 Strictly necessary
These are essential for the app to function. They enable core features such as signing you in, keeping your session secure, and remembering items and settings as you move around the app. Because they are essential, they do not require your consent, and the app may not work properly without them.
3.2 Analytics and performance
These help us understand how the app is used and whether anything is going wrong, so we can improve it. We use them only with your consent, and the information is used in an aggregated way wherever possible.
3.3 Marketing and advertising
Where applicable, these help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing and show more relevant content or advertising about The Sports Locker. We use them only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

When you first use the app, we ask for your consent to any non-essential similar technologies (such as analytics and marketing), and you can change your choices at any time in the app's privacy or settings menu.
You can also manage tracking through your device settings. On most phones you can reset or limit the advertising identifier, and control whether apps may track you, through the device's privacy settings. Please note that turning off strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the app from working properly.
For technologies that require consent (analytics and marketing), we will not use them until you have given your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the app's settings or your device settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already collected before you withdrew it.
We may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in the law. We will make the updated version available in the app with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required, we will ask for your consent again.
